Frequently Asked Questions

We answer your questions about technology, development, e-commerce, digital design, and UI/UX. Clear, straightforward information to help you better understand each process and make better decisions.

What kinds of companies hire Lyra?

We work with mid-sized companies and large corporations where design and technology are serious business levers, not just nice-to-haves. Our clients include Grupo HOLA!, Louis Vuitton, ACCIONA, The Objective, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and UPM. They come from different industries, but share one thing: they need a team that gets it from day one.
We also work as a technology partner for other agencies and IT consultancies that need specialized design or development capacity for specific projects.

What sets Lyra apart from other digital agencies?

Three things, specifically. First, we combine business strategy, design, and technology in a single team, without outsourcing the parts that matter most. Second, our LYRA-PROCESS© is a systematic approach that keeps scope, deadlines, and communication honest throughout. You can learn more about our methodology at lyra.digital/en/conocenos. Third, our clients come back. Most of the work on our website isn't one-off projects; it's ongoing partnerships.
We're highly rated on both Sortlist and Clutch, which speak for themselves. And if you'd like to speak directly with one of our clients before deciding, we'll make that happen.

How does Lyra work?

We apply our LYRA-PROCESS©, a systematic, holistic, and iterative process that structures each project into very clear phases: Prepare, Understand, Define, Design, Develop, Deliver, and Support. We work in sprints with progressive partial deliverables, which means the client has real visibility into progress from the very first week, without having to wait for specific milestones or the end to know if the project is on track. We guarantee clarity in scope, honest communication, and adherence to deadlines and budget. The process is just as important to us as the final result. Learn more at lyra.digital/about-us.

Does Lyra specialize in any specific sector or industry?

We don't define ourselves by industry. We define ourselves by the type of challenge. We look for projects where design and technology have a real strategic impact on the business.
We've worked across tourism, energy, construction, digital media, e-commerce, logistics, pharma, real estate, food, education, the public sector, and international organizations. That breadth is part of our strength: the best solutions often come from connecting ideas across very different industries.

Where can I see Lyra's work?

In the Projects section on our website, you’ll find detailed case studies of our actual work: the client’s challenge, our approach, and the results we achieved. Published work includes projects for Grupo HOLA!, Louis Vuitton, ACCIONA, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, The Objective, Amigo Tours, SP-Berner, Universidad Villanueva, Cerdá Group, and PAZZI, among others.

How big is the Lyra team?

We're a team of 15 people across design, product, technology, business, AI, automation, and digital strategy. We work 100% remotely, distributed across Spain and other countries.
Depending on the project, we bring in additional specialists from our ecosystem of collaborators and partners, people who share our standards and values. This lets us take on projects of very different sizes and complexity without compromising on quality or deadlines. More information in the About Us section of our website.

Where is Lyra based? Do you work with international clients?

Lyra is a digital agency with offices in Madrid, A Coruña, and Las Palmas. We work 100% remotely with clients both in Spain and internationally, in Spanish and English. Our international clients include Louis Vuitton, PAZZI (Switzerland), ECHAlliance, and Hello Magazine (UK and India, among others). Our LYRA-PROCESS© is built specifically for distributed collaboration; clarity and communication don't depend on being in the same room.

Does Lyra have experience with e-commerce and Shopify?

Yes. We're a certified Shopify Plus Partner, one of the most demanding certifications in the Shopify ecosystem globally, reserved for agencies with proven expertise in high-complexity projects. You can finour profile in the Shopify Partner Directory). We've built migrations from other platforms, international multilingual stores, complex ERP and CRM integrations, Shopify B2B, omnichannel POS, and custom theme and app development. E-commerce is one of our most established areas of expertise, and we have published success stories at lyra.digital/proyectos.

What technologies does Lyra work with?

Lyra, with the domain lyra.digital, is a digital product design and development agency that works with an open stack, choosing the right technology for each project rather than defaulting to a favorite.
For corporate websites and platforms requiring advanced customization, we work with WordPress (Bricks Builder, JetEngine, ACF Pro), Webflow, or fully custom-built solutions. For e-commerce, we're a certified Shopify Plus Partner working with Shopify and Shopify Plus at any scale.
For custom digital products, web applications, and proprietary platforms, we build from scratch using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Laravel, or Symfony, depending on the project. Cloud infrastructure runs primarily on Vercel, Supabase, and AWS. Custom projects typically include proprietary CMS systems, third-party API integrations, and architectures built to scale.
We also integrate AI throughout our work: product automations, LLM integrations, and AI-assisted workflows applied to real business processes.
The criterion is always fit: the right technology for the challenge, the context, and the goals.

Do your developments comply with security and accessibility standards?

Yes. Our developments are aligned with the requirements of Spain's National Security Scheme (ENS) at the medium level, and with WCAG Level AA accessibility standards. This is particularly relevant for public sector projects, regulated industries, or any organization operating in the Spanish or European market.
We are also a certified Digitalization Agent for Spain's Kit Digital program and a Kit Consulting Agent.
In addition, we were certified by the Community of Madrid as Digital Service Design providers for Digital Transformation, ranking first in the evaluation, ahead of Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, and Indra.
